Are you looking for an example of a particular tool? I’ll provide a recent example easy to explain in a few words:

  • During the insights step, we mostly used the opportunities tree and the 3 horizons. We explored options related to sales growth and efficiency.
  • During selection, we used DHM and strengthen the core to focus on customer service and the operation efficiency of a transfers business unit. By creating efficiencies in both we would create a better customer experience, improve the bottom line, and strengthen the business model for future scalability.
  • We used the drivers model to express the focus on these areas, with guidelines for the types of actions required, and the key results that would let us know if we were making the right progress.

Going through the full example will require more time, but if the question is related to how the tools link, there definitely is a connexion.
